PM assures support, RDC probe ordered by Odisha CM in the Sum hospital fire mishap

Bhubaneswar, Oct 18: Concerned about the fire outbreak that happened at the Sum Hospital on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked JP Nadda, Union Health Minister to shift all injured patients to the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.

PM wrote about this in a tweet on his twitter account.

In his tweet, he mentioned that he has also spoken to the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik about the fire mishap incident and assured him that the Centre will provide all the support and help required. Modi has directed Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Health Minister to ensure that help is extended to all the affected persons.

On the other hand, Patnaik visited Capital hospital to review the treatment of evacuated patients from Sum hospital. He also ordered Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) level probe in this incident.

Expressing his condolences, the CM informed that all the medical expenses for the treatment of the injured will be taken care of by the State Government.
