Bhubaneswar, Oct 3: The Chief Minister, with request of ordering the Chhattisgarh to stop construction work, on September 30, mentioned that the issue can be solved if the Prime Minister wants, has written a letter to the Prime Minister. Strengthening the federal system of the country depends upon the good relationship between two states, he mentioned in the letter. Legal action will not be required if the Prime Minister intervened in the matter, he dropped lines in the letter. So such framed statements somehow shows that the Chief Minster wants to solve the Mahanadi river water issue without having any legal fight.
However, Suresh Pujari, national secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has commented upon this and said that rightfulness of the state depends upon the both leaders’ work and Naveen Patnaik should present the fact before the Centre to fight for the state’s people.
