PM Reviews The Ongoing Evacuations Of Indians Stranded In War Torn Ukraine
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday chaired a high-level meeting to discuss regarding the ongoing evacuations of Indians stranded in war torn Ukraine.
Yesterday also the PM had met with Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla and Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba to discuss on the issues.
As decided, 4 Union Ministers shall move to the bordering countries of Ukraine to coordinate the evacuation mission and help the Indians including students.
The Ministers to travel to the countries to look after the evacuations are Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and General V.K. Singh
They shall move to Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania to look after the evacuation process via these countries.
As per the report, Indian embassies in Warsaw, Bucharest, and Budapest have made arrangements for stay in these countries for the students once they enter from Ukraine border.

So far over 1,137 Indian students have been airlifted and more flights will be send to bordering countries to bring back the stranded Indians, government sources said.
Around 16,000 students are stuck in Ukraine, either at the borders, or hiding in bunkers, bomb shelters and hostel basements.
The government officials also said that three Air India flights have been scheduled from Budapest to New Delhi and Mumbai on Monday.
