Jharsuguda, Oct 23: A bike lifting gang was busted by the police on Saturday in Jharsuguda district in which 52 motor cycles were recovered and 12 persons have been arrested in this connection.
As per reports, Sanjay Keshari from Badagaon and Krupanidhi Mahanadia of Sabdega were apprehended by the town police on Friday while the two were disposing of a theft two-wheeler following which they were arrested and subjected to intense interrogation.
However, while interrogation the two spilled out the names of the others involved in the crime on the basis of which the other 10 persons involved in the racket were arrested by the police and 52 motor cycles were also recovered.
The arrested persons were later forwarded to the court on Saturday.
