Police detained 30 activists today morning in Rayagada, Odisha before Odisha CM‘s visit

Rayagada, Nov 15: Today morning just before the Odisha CM visited here, the police had detained 30 activists of various political parties. Among them nine were Congress activists. They had been detained at Kashipur. There were eight BJP activists, seven from the Congress and two from the Aam Admi Party (AAP) who were detained here.

The cops also seized eggs and black flags from some of the activists. Rayagada Additional SP Patitapaban Choudhury informed that all required arrangements had been made ahead of the CM’s visit. It’s stated that the CM had visited to inaugurate and lay foundation stones of various projects at the Rayagada GCD High School at 11 am. He also inaugurated a new building of the government hospital. Later he visited Kashipur for inaugurating various developmental programmes and also attended a meeting. He visited Gumuda village even to inaugurate a bridge over the Bansadhara River.
