Cuttack, Sept 1: On Wednesday night, three persons identified as Sk Abdulah (32), Saukat Ali Khan (35) and Sariq Mohammed (42), stated to be members of a gang, were arrested from a residential area of Cuttack. Police have seized two pistols, 14 live bullets, two sharp-edged weapons, two motorcycles, and six mobile phones from their possession.
The arrested persons are important associates of Kendrapada-based gangster Tito alias Sk Usman Ali, stated DCP Sanjeev Arora.
Police said that the members of Tito gang are now trying to spread their network in Cuttack after the arrest of Dhalasamant brothers (Sushant and Sushil) in January this year.
Notably, with the recent arrests, at least a dozen members of the Tito gang have been arrested by the police.
