Bhubaneswar, July 28: The Kolkata–based businessman, Pratik Patodia, who was abducted from Jharsuguda on July 22, while he was on his way to his spinning mill in Kirei in Sundargarh district, has been rescued from Kantabanjhi, Bolangir district.
Police got information about his whereabouts by tracking his driver Rohit Tanti, sources said.
Though the reason behind the abduction is not yet clear, the manager of Pratik’s mill had lodged an FIR against a Businessman from Kantabanjhi, doubting that the abduction had been done on the basis of business-related rivalry.
