New Delhi: The Congress, led by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, will contest the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections without allying with any party, former Union Minister Salman Khurshid said on Sunday.
“Even though the chief minister candidate has not yet been decided, but the Congress will field 403 seats in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections,” he said. “We have already visited Ayodhya, Jhansi and Gorakhpur districts and held talks with the locals of Tora village in Agra on Sunday,” he said. People have also complained about issues like widows and old age allowances.
