Jeypore: May 12: The prominent leader of Congress and Former Finance and Law Minister of Odisha, Raghunath Patnaik passed away here this morning.
89 years old Patnaik was admitted to a nursing home in Jeypore city yesterday only due to complaints of chest pain. Leaders from all Political Parties expressed their grief over the death of Patnaik.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved family. Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, PCC president Prasad Harichandan, BJP state president Basant Panda and other leaders expressed their condolences to the family members of the departed Congress leader.
Ragunath Patnaik was elected from the Jeypore constituency six times. He was the Finance and Law Minister in JB Patnaik government.
