Bhubaneswar, Jan 19: Aditya Birla Group’s unit Hindalco Company organized a Pulse Polio Eradication Campaign at its Plant location in Hirakud in the district of Sambalpur in Odisha on Sunday.
A rally was organized on January 16 at Hirakud to mark the occasion in which students, teachers, members of different NGOs, volunteers from all fronts and the local intelligentsia of Hirakud town participated in huge number. This rally started from the local Government Girls’s High School and moved throughout the town.
Head of Hirakud Complex Rajesh Gupta flagged off the rally and led the entire rally circuit encouraging the people to participate in the initiative to eradicate polio from the society.
Hindalco power plant Head Rakesh Gupta, Sibanand Mohanty, Subas Das and other members of CSR team of Hindalco participated in the rally.
