Puri: In a tragic incident, a minor boy, who was missing since April 15 was found dead today inside a sewage tank in Puri district of Odisha. The incident took place in the Ratanpur village under Delang Block of the district. The minor deceased boy has been identified as Ashirvad.
As per reports, the boy was missing since April 15. Accordingly Police had initiated an investigation to trace out him. Police formed 3 teams to find out the missing boy. Also, the Cyber team was also investigating. After searching with the help of sniffer dogs, Prabhakar Sahu of the village was caught on the 18th April. Police questioned him and released him.
However, last night, after again questioning Prabhakar, he confessed to the crime. Late at night, police recovered the minor boy’s body from the toilet tank in front of their house. It is their neighbour’s sewerage tank.
It is to be noted that the family and villagers had blocked roads yesterday demanding trace out of the missing boy. Delang police have seized the body and sent it to Puri Headquarter hospital. The neighbour has been arrested in the connection.
