Puri, Mar 25: Yesterday in connection to Puri Swargdwar land grab case, the district administration has started vetting land records to ascertain the exact amount of land allotted to Swargadwar in 1899. The Excise minister, Damodar Rout also spoke against the relocation of the crematorium. He stated that the people are connected with the land and their sentiments must be respected. The Swargadwar which is there since years should not be shifted at any cost. On asking about the allegations of land encroachment allotted to Swargadwar, the Jagatsinghpur legislator said that criminal proceeding should be initiated against the encroaches. The district administration must initiate action and demolish the encroachments asap.
