Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan on Wednesday joined Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Rajasthan. Rahul Gandhi had a chat with Raghuram Rajan during the Jatra, which resumed this morning from Bhadoti of Sawai Madhopur.
Raghuram Rajan served as Governor of the Reserve Bank of India throughout the second term of the United Progressive Alliance and the early years of the Modi administration.
After crossing the Rajasthan-Haryana border, Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will take a one-week respite, according to officials. There will be no travel between December 24 and January 2.
