Bhubaneswar, Nov 17: Odisha is likely to experience rain and thundershower in on Tuesday due to the formation of a well marked low pressure area over southwest Bay of Bengal.
The well marked low pressure area over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka now lies over southwest Bay of Bengal off north Tamil Nadu coast at 0830 hours IST on Tuesday, IMD said.
Associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends upto mid-tropospheric levels tilting southwestwards which may cause rain or thundershowers at one or two places over south Odisha.
