Rainfall continues in few parts of Odisha; MeT office

Bhubaneswar, Apr 5: Sallow fog has been observed at isolated places over north interior Odisha. Rain fall occurred at isolated places over Odisha. Maximum temperatures observed appreciably fall over north coastal Odisha and no large change over rest Odisha. They were above normal over Interior Odisha and normal over coastal Odisha.

Having partly cloudy sky, Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours a maximum and minimum temperature of 36 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius respectively on Thursday.

The relative humidity will be 87 percent at its maximum and 56 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT. On Thursday, rainfall at one or two places of Odisha with thundersquall and hailstorms. Wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph. On Friday and Saturday, rainfall to occur at one or two places of Odisha. On Sunday and Monday weather to be dry in Odisha. As per the weather forecasters, there will be an increase in day temperature over Interior Odisha from Apr 10.

For the farmers, rainfall at one or two places of Odisha with thundersquall and hailstorms. Wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph.

The highest maximum temperature of 42.70C  was recorded at Angul and the lowest minimum temperature of 17.50C was recorded at Sundergarh in the plains of Odisha.
