Bhubaneswar, May 2: Rainfall has occurred at few places over South Coastal Odisha and over one or two places over rest Odisha. Chief amount of rainfall recorded in Digapahandi (dist Ganjam), Nuagada (dist Gajapati), Mohana (dist Gajapati), Nilgiri (dist Balasore), Kashinagar (dist Gajapati), Gunupur (dist Rayagada), Paralakhemundi (dist Gajapati), Nh5 Gobindpur (dist Balasore), Anandpur (dist Keonjhargarh), Aska (dist Ganjam), Hindol (dist Dhenkanal), Bhograi (dist Balasore), R.udaigiri (dist Gajapati), Pottangi (dist Koraput), Harichandanpur (dist Keonjhargarh), Balasore (dist Balasore), Jaleswar (dist Balasore), Rajghat (dist Balasore), Purushottampur (dist Ganjam). Maximum temperatures observed no large change and were normal over Odisha.

Having partly cloudy sky, Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours a maximum and minimum temperature of 37 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius respectively on Wednesday.

The relative humidity will be 81 percent at its maximum and 44 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, rainfall, thunder-squall and hailstorms to occur in Odisha with a wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph. On Saturday and Sunday, rainfall, thunder-squall and hailstorms to occur in one or two places of Coastal Odisha and weather to be dry in Interior Odisha. wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph. As per the weather forecasters, Interior Odisha will have increased temperatures.

The highest maximum temperature of 42.5C was recorded at Bolangir and the lowest minimum temperature of 20.5C was recorded at Sundargarh in the plains of Odisha.
