Rashid Khan Picks 400 T20 Wickets
Rashid Khan has completed 400 wickets in T20 format. He is the fourth bowler in the world to do so. Dwayne Bravo of West Indies has the highest number of 553 wickets. It is followed by Sunil Narine with 425 wickets and Imran Tahir at number three with 420 wickets. Since Rashid’s debut, no other bowler has taken 300 wickets in this format except him.
Afghanistan’s star spinner became the fastest bowler to register 400 wickets in Twenty20 cricket during his side’s T20 World Cup 2021match against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi.
The 23-year-old Rashid raced to the landmark wicket in his 289th T20 match with the wicket of New Zealand’s Martin Guptill.
Dwayne Bravo, did it in 364 matches and he is the first bowler to cross 500 T20 wickets. He currently has 553 wickets in 512 matches.
Imran Tahir took 400 wickets in 320 matches and Sunil Narine in 362 matches.
