Rayagada: In a tragic incident as many as three have been critically injured in a gas cylinder blast in Rayagada district of Odisha, said reports on Friday.
According to reports, the incident has been reported from Raniguda farms area. The blast occured when cooking was being done. The critically injured were first rushed to the Rayagada District Headquarter Hospitals (DHH). But as their condition deteriorated, two of them were shifted to Berhampur MKCG College and Hospital.
It is further worth mentioning that one of them was shifted to a hospital in Vishakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh. The three were living in rent. All the three were in the house and all the doors and windows were closed hence the severity of the blast was felt badly.
The police has reached the spot and is investigating into the matter. Further detailed reports awaited in this matter.
