Puri: The repair work of Srimandira’s Ratnabhandar in Puri of Odisha resumed on Friday. The work had been suspended for Sri Panchami and Banakalagi ritual.
As per reports, the renovation work of the Ratnabhandara of Srimandira has been re-started today. Post the second Bhoga Mandap ritual the work was started.
In view of special rituals such as Sri Panchami and Banakalagi, the renovation work on the Ratnabhandar was suspended on February 2 and 3 and February 5 and 6. Apart from these days, the renovation work on the Ratnabhandar is going on on other days as per the guidelines approved by the state government and the administration of the temple.
The renovation work on the Ratnabhandar is being suspended in between due to various festivals and rituals in the temple.
While earlier the wall plastering work of the Ratnabhandar was done, now the floor is being repaired and the work of changing the stones where necessary is being done.
