Bhubaneswar, July 15: A review has been organized by Health Minister, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak on Friday to discuss about the dengue situation in the State.
As per the information collected till now, around 1109 dengue patients have been detected in the state. 134 patients have been hospitalized and among them 127 are admitted in the SCB medical college and hospital, Cuttack and 30 have been discharged after being cured from dengue.
Jagatpur Industrial Estate in Cuttack is the worst affected as dengue virus is spreading rapidly in the area. By focusing industrial area, Nayak said that any industry found lacking proper sanitation facility would be sealed. The issue regarding this has been informed to the District Collector and Industries Department.
