Bhubaneswar, Aug 15: With new facilities, Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar would get 24-hour flight facilities and passenger services from September 1. Initially, this service will be available at the domestic terminal from September 1.
Passenger services such as security personnel and shopping at the airport would be available 24X7 for the air passengers from this date.
These services will be available for the passengers during night hours as well so that they do not face any difficulties, informed director of the airport, R. Mahalingam.
Around 20 flights from different parts of the country fly to Bhubaneswar Airport daily. Now, the passengers are most likely to get more flights to Bhubaneswar, due to the 24-hour operations of the passenger facilities at the airport.
