Bhadrak, July 19: A group of unidentified looters looted Rs.23 lakh from an ATM van standing at the by-pass road today. In connection to this an FIR has been registered at the Town Police Station to which the police have sealed all the roads connecting the town and into investigation of the same.
As per the report, the van was accompanied with a bank employee and three security guards and was on its way to the ATM counter for refilling the machine. The miscreants threw two notes of Rs 20 and had remarked the security personnel in the van that the money slipped from the vehicle. While the security was trying to get the notes, the looters escaped with the money.
