New Delhi, Oct 30: While all the political parties have been strongly favouring the concept of quota in country, RSS clarified its stand on reservations to minority and dalits.
The organisation claimed that they are not against reservations.
The clarification came after Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat in an interview to Organiser and Panchjanya told that the political leaders are using the reservation as their tool. He had suggested the government to set up a committee to examine who needs reservation for what period.
Since the Bihar assembly polls are underway, the statement by RSS aims to make BJP’s position unshaken. Notably, all the political parties have been cornering the BJP stating the Centre is against reservation.
