Salman Khan as India’s goodwill ambassador for Rio Olympics:

New Delhi: April 23: Salman Khan will represent the Indian contingent as a goodwill ambassador for the upcoming Rio Olympics, which will be started from August 5’ 2016.

The 50-year-old actor is currently shooting his sports-oriented film ‘Sultan’, where he plays a wrestler from Haryana.

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA), which made the announcement at its headquarters in New Delhi, choose Salman from a list of two to three candidates which also included Shah Rukh Khan and veteran actor Amitabh Bachan.
