Bhubaneswar, May 16: Today the nomination papers for the by-polls for the Rajya Sabha lone seat of Odisha will be scrutinized and till May 18 nomination papers can be withdrawn. BJD’s Pratap Keshari Deb is all set to accquire a seat in view of the strength of the party. Yesterday, Deb submitted three nominations, along with his proposers and supporters, to the Secretary of the State Assembly here. In the first nomination paper, Odisha CM Naveen Pattnaik and nine other legislators served as proposers for Deb. In the second nomination paper, Minister Dama Rout including nine legislators were the proposers and Debasis Samantray including nine legislators in the third set served as proposers.
