Bhubaneswar: May 21: Promising Sprinter from Odisha Dutee Chand bagged her second gold on Friday at the Taiwan Open Athletics Championship being held in Taoyuan City of Taiwan. She covered the 200 metre distance in 23.52 seconds to strike gold in women’s 200 metre race. Odisha sprinter Shrabani clocked 23.55 seconds to win gold and HM Jyoti picked up the bronze with 23.92 seconds. In yesterday’s event, both Dutee and Shrabani are below their earlier timing i.e. 23.34 and 23.36 respectively.
On Thursday, she bagged gold in the 100 metre race covering in 11.50 seconds, but the Olympic qualifier timing is 11.32 seconds.
