Security tightened for the Monsoon session of Odisha Assembly

Bhubaneswar, Sept 21: Keeping in view the security system in the Assembly premises for the upcoming Monsoon session which will begin today, KB Singh, DG of Odisha police reviewed the arrangement of security in the Assembly.

Along with this, security arrangements at lower PMG and demonstration places has also been reviewed by Singh, YB Khurania, Police Commissioner of Twin city and Stayabrata Bhoi, DCP of Bhubaneswar.

To insure a hassle free session, all arrangements have been taken care of, informed Singh to media persons.

As per the information, three-tier security arrangement has been issued in and around the Assembly premises following which, around 30 platoons of police force, 100 ASIs, 12 assistance commandants, four assistance DCPs and a officer of DCP rank has been deployed on the spot to maintain law and order.

To enforce law and order and to keep the situation under control, stations, bus stops and other main junction have been kept under tight security.
