Bhubaneswar: Several vehicles including a car were damaged following a series of accidents in Bhubaneswar, the State Capital City of Odisha, on Thursday.
According to reports the series of accidents occurred on Damana Square-Sailashree Vihar Road in Bhubaneswar after a car reportedly hit several vehicles.
Three to four bikes and a car were damaged following the series of accidents in Bhubaneswar, said sources adding that the pedestrians had a narrow escape as all of them ran for life on noticing the reckless driving of the car driver.
On being informed, the Chandrasekharpur Police reached the spot of the series of accidents and started an investigation into the matter. They also seized the car that caused the series of accidents and are questing the eye-witnesses to get some information about the accident.
Police also are interrogating the driver of the concerned car to ascertain the exact cause of the series of accidents, which has now become a talk of the town in the locality.
A huge crowd had gathered on the spot of accident to see the damaged vehicles and know how the series of accidents occurred.
It is to be noted here that several people were injured when a series of accidents occurred between Rajmahal Chhaka to Master Canteen when a Mo Bus was hit by another Mo Bus on January 23.
