Sigh of relief to Odisha citzens with probable thundershowers

Bhubaneswar, May 6: Rainfall has occurred at one or two places over interior Odisha and Weather has been dry over Coastal Odisha. Chief amount of rainfall is recorded in Harichandanpur (dist Keonjhargarh), Kosagumda (dist Nawarangpur), Ghatagaon (dist Keonjhargarh), Talcher (dist Angul), Keonjhargarh (dist Keonjhargarh), Banarpal (dist Angul). Maximum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha. They were above normal over Interior Odisha and normal over Coastal Odisha.

The highest maximum temperature of 44.50 degree Celsius was recorded at Bolangir and the lowest minimum temperature of 23degree Celsius was recorded at Sundargarh & Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

The relative humidity will be 92 percent at its maximum and 50 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT. On all days, rainfall, thunder-squall and hailstorms to occur in Odisha with a wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph.

Having partly cloudy sky with thunder showers likely to occur, Odisha’s capital city and neighbourhood is likely to experience in the next 24 hours a maximum and minimum temperature of 39 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius respectively on Sunday.

For the farmers, rainfall, thunder-squall and hailstorms to occur in Odisha with a wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph.
