Bhubaneswar, Feb. 14: A debate, quiz, rangoli, face painting and poster competitions featured in a daylong program held at the Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS) under the SOA University on Monday as the BDS students, post-graduate students and interns observed the Oral and Maxillofacial Day.
The program also included a talk by Dr. Master Mickey, In-charge of the department of Emergency Medicine at the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, on ‘basic management of maxillofacial trauma and road traffic accidents.’
Speaking to the students, he explained how preliminary care was taken of accident victims with injury to the face and jaw.
Prof. P.K.Mohanty, Consultant, Hospital Administration, SOA University and Prof. Neeta Mohanty, Dean of IDS, were present.
