Cuttack, Sep 26: Involved in the alleged sodomy case conditional bail has been granted to Chaudakulat police outpost in-charge of Kendrapada district, Mahendra Behera by the Orissa High Court. A single-member bench of the High Court comprising of Justice J P Das after conducting a hearing on Behera’s bail plea directed Pattamundai Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) to grant bail to the accused against a surety of Rs 15,000.
It’s stated that Behera on Aug 3 had allegedly committed sodomy with homeguard, Pravat Kumar Patra. Post this Behera was taken into custody after Patra filed a FIR at the Pattamundai police station.
