Special Task Force for Nagada Malnutrition Death

Bhubaneswar, July 21: Reviewing important aspects of the Jajpur’s Nagada village malnutrition death, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday informed that a Special Task Force (STF) has been formed to look into this matter.

The task force would also look after to prevent such incident in near future, Patnaik said to media parsons.

It is to be noted that, due to malnutrition, around 18 children have been died in the last three months in the mining area.

Situated 30 km form Sukinda Cromite Valley and 50 km form Kalinga Nagar Industrial complex, this hilltop area, Nagada has no way for transportation. Every day, for attaining the basic necessities the villagers have to travel around 15 km thorough a dense forest to reach a transportation road.
