New Delhi, Nov 5 Private carrier SpiceJet has said it will enhance air connectivity to Thai capital Bangkok with a new direct flight from Chennai next month.

The airline already operates a daily non-stop service to Bangkok from Kolkata, which it had started last year.

Also, this is the third international flight announced by the Gurgaon-based no frills airline in the last one month.

The new six times-a-week service on the route will commence from December 10 with a Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft, the airline said.

Earlier, last month SpiceJet announced the launch of two direct flights to Dubai – one each from Amritsar and Kozhikode – from 15 of this month.

The Gurgaon-based budget carrier operates 291 daily flights to 40 destinations, including 34 domestic and six international.
