Spidercam during Ind-Eng ODI at Barabati Stadium; BCCI’s technical team

Cuttack, Nov 29:  The Second One-Day International match of India-England is on January 19, 2017 and before that, to review the broadcast infrastructure, ground and audience gallery at the Barabati Stadium, the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) four member technical team had visited the stadium on Sunday.

After reviewing the ground, the team has proposed to install Spidercam at the stadium during the match.

A Germany technical official and an employee of the Star Sports, the broadcasting network were present in the team.

It may be noted that, after the T20 match in October, 2015 between India and South Africa this is the first international match which will be played at Barabati Stadium and it is also the first match in which a spidercam will be used in this stadium.
