Kendrapara, Sept 3: The District Administrator has finally started working on the repair of the damaged geo-tube project at Pentha village just after a private TV channel aired its condition news.
The geo-tube sea wall is meant to provide security to sea-side villages of the district. The Water Resources Department team after visiting the spot informed that as the repair work gets done, a stone embankment will be constructed in front of the geo-tube sea wall.
Notably since 2012, the project is in progress to provide safety and security to about 54 sea-side villages of Rajkanika block. However, the project is yet to be completed.
