Bhubaneswar: Dec 03: State BJP Unit asked the state government to give detailed expenditure on the summit, ‘Make In Odisha’. While state government has claimed it a big success, BJP raised a suspicion over its achievement. Briefing to the Press, general secretary of State BJP Bhrugu Buxipatra said, the State government failed to put its proposal before the companies on the amount of investment.

He further added, ‘During last 17 years, at least 92 big companies have signed MoU and out of which, 46 agreements cancelled and 40 companies are yet to begin their work. So, only six are in operational’. Speaking on the Power Projects, Buxipatra said, 17 MoUs were signed for Power Projects while three have been functional till now. Rest are yet to be operational. ‘There was a decision to set up 13 ports, but MoU signed only for 4 ports and out of which, one has been commissioned till date.’ Buxipatra claimed. Likewise, Odisha has signed MoU for setting up 18 hydro-power projects and non has been commissioned yet, BJD leader informed.
