State Cong President discussed about Communal Strife in Odisha with Odisha Governor yesterday and sought for his response into the matter

Bhubaneswar, Sep 15: A delegation of the Congress party led by its state president, Prasad Harichandan yesterday met the Odisha Governor, S C Jamir over the recent incidents of communal strife in the state and submitted a memorandum seeking his intervention in the matter.

The party in its memorandum mentioned about the incidents of communal violence in Soro, Basudevpur, Rourkela and Pattamundai over the immersion ceremony of Ganesh idols in these places as examples of the collapse of law and order in the state.
