Subarnapur: Class 9 Biker Dies In Road Mishap

Subarnapur: In a tragic accident, a Class 9 student died while another one is critically injured after getting hit by an unknown vehicle on Sunday morning. The incident happened in Gopapali Metakani square on Musundi road in Biramaharajpur block under Subarnapur district. The two were returning from the Saraswati Puja celebrations in their school.

The deceased class 9 student has been identified as Tanmay Mahakuar while the critically injured has been identified as Debasish Mallick, a class 10 student. They were students of Raghunath Upper primary school.

According to information, one class 9 boy died while another one is critically injured in the accident. They had gone for Saraswati Puja celebrations at their school. After attending the Puja, the duo went out to roam in their motorcycle. An unknown vehicle hit their bike and fled the scene.

Locals rushed the duo to the Biramaharajpur Primary healthcare centre (PHC). As their condition turned critical, they were referred to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Sonepur. Doctors declared Tanmay as dead in the DHH while Debasish is undergoing treatment.
