Bhubaneswar: The most awaited 2nd instalment of the Subhadra Yojana will be credited to the bank accounts of the beneficiary women on March 8. It was informed by Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Friday.
The first phase of the second instalment of Subhadra Scheme will be distributed at an event organized in Berhampur. So now, Subhadra will reach to one crore women, said Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
Earlier, the first instalment money of Subhadra Yojana has been distributed to 98 lakh women of Odisha.
On March 8, one crore women will be financially independent at once, she added.
It is worth mentioning that the fourth phase of the first instalment of Subhadra Yojana has already reached the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. In this phase, the government has provided Rs. 5,000 to above 18 lakh women. So far, 98 lakh women have received Subhadra Yojana money.
