Subhadra Yojana 5th phase of 1st instalment money today

Bhubaneswar: Today, the fifth phase of the first instalment money of the Subhadra Yojana will be distributed. In the fifth phase, more than 2 lakh 30 thousand new beneficiaries will receive the financial assistance. With this, the number of Subhadra beneficiaries will cross one crore by today.

The second instalment of Subhadra Yojana will be distributed on the 8th of March on the Women’s Day.

Further, it has been learnt that with an ambition to include all the eligible beneficiaries a door-to-door survey will be conducted to find the beneficiaries who have so far deprived of the benefit of the Subhadra scheme in Odisha. The government will reportedly close the application process on March 31 and conduct a survey. The officials will go door-to-door to take up the survey.

It is to be noted that the beneficiaries of Subhadra yojana are being given Rs 10,000 per year in two instalments of Rs 5,000 each.

The fourth phase of the first instalment money was distributed on February 8. The state government sent money to the accounts of more than 18 lakh women on this day.

With this, more than 98 lakh women beneficiaries have benefited in the last 7 months. Along with this, 98 lakh 30 thousand 934 women have been included in the Subhadra Yojana across the state.
