Cuttack, Oct 21: Sum Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Puspa Raj Samantasinghar who had been arrested and had to be admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital due to of having a chest pain, he had been discharged from the hospital on Thursday. After that, he is taken to the Khandagiri Police station, as per the sources.
On Wednesday, Samantasighar was admitted at SCB Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Cardiology department.
It may be noted that, in connection to Sum Hospital fire mishap, under sections 304, 308, 285 and 34 the Commissionerate Police on Tuesday arrested Sum Hospital Medical Superintendent, Puspa Raj Samantasinghar, the ex-Executive engineer Amulyakumar Sahu, Fire Safety Officer of the hospital, Santosh Das and Malaya Kumar Sahu who was working at the electrical maintenance department of Sum Hospital, based on an FIR filed by the Fire Services Department.
