Bhubaneswar: The hearing on the bail petition of Manoj Ranjan Nayak, owner of the Institute of Medical Sciences and Sum Hospital has been postponed to October 27 by the Khurda District and Sessions Judge Court today.
As per sources, the court postponed the hearing as the police failed to produce the case diary before it. Till the case hearing, Nayak will be lodged at the Jharpada jail.
It may be noted that the police arrested Nayak following the fire mishap at the hospital on last Monday due to which 27 people have lost their lives so far.
