Bhubaneswar, Nov 4: Yesterday Sunil Kumar Mishra took the oath of office as the Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Odisha. He was administered the oath of office by the Odisha’s Governor SC Jamir at the Raj Bhawan here. The others who were present at the occasion were Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Minister Information & Public Relations Bikram Keshari Arukh, Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi and State Information Commissioners L N Patnaik and Sashiprava Bindhani.
Notably, Mishra who is a retired bureaucrat was appointed as the CIC upon the approval by Jamir on October 19
