Kaniha, Jan 4: NTPC Tacher-Kaniha in association with Utkalmani Gobabandhu Dhristihina Kalyan Samiti,Kaniha distributed shawls ,dhotis ,sarees & towels among 700 blind & physically challenged persons recently as part of its CSR initiative.
NTPC has been supporting this initiative for more than two decades years since inception of the blind society in the year 1984.The clothes were distributed by Chief Guest of the occasion Sub Collector SB Mishra and Executive Director ,NTPC Kaniha NK Kothari.
Mishra on this occasion appreciated the initiative taken by NTPC Kaniha.
Group General Manager Kothari expressed his happiness in being part of the noble cause and assured the PSU’s support in future for such endeavours.
BDO Seshadeva Misra, Sarpanch Benudhar Sahoo, Samitti Member Kunjabihari Pradhan, President Utkal Gopobandhu Dhristihina Kalyan Samiti Sudhakar Pradhan were among those present on the occasion.
