Bhubaneswar, Dec 20: Soon after getting discharged from AIIMS after having a successful kidney transplant surgery conducted on December 10, Sushma Swaraj, External Affairs Minister thanked an Odisha born doctor for the surgery. She expressed her gratitude through Twitter to Dr Mukut Minz.
She wrote, Dr. Mukut Minz – Thank you very much for my surgery Dr.Minz. I am proud India has a Surgeon of your eminence in kidney transplant surgery.

Susham Swaraj was discharged from the AIIMS on December 19.
Besides that, she also expressed thanks to the doctors, hospital staff and her well-wishers.
On thanking she wrote that, I am grateful to the dedicated team of Doctors, SRs, Sisters, technicians and staff of AIIMS. They have lived up to the reputation of AIIMS.

Dr Minz, born in Sundergarh, has done his MBBS from VSS Medical College and Hospital, Burla. After that he did his MS in General Surgery from Chandigarh’s PGIMER. He has also been honored with the Odisha Gaurav Samman in 2012 for his contributions in the field of transplantation.
