Suspected al-Qaeda terrorist arrested in Cuttack

Bhubaneswar, Dec 16: Suspected al-Qaeda terrorist Abdul Rehman arrested from Jagatpur in Cuttack during a joint operation by Delhi Police and Commissionerate Police of Odisha.

Police Commissioner Dr. R.P Sharma said Police seized mobile, tablet, passport from him during raid.

Commissioner said that his brother Tahir Ali was arrested 2001 in terrorism charges.

According to the operation team, Rehman first produced in Salepur Court and later he will be produced before Bhubaneswar court. Later he will be produced in Delhi court.

Commissionerate Police along with the Delhi police raided the house of Reheman late on Tuesday night.

Suspected terrorist Rehman is a native of West Bengal and staying at Paschimakachha village in Jagatpur. He is 49 year old. He is the father of four children. He has link in Pakistan, Dubai, and London.
