Mumbai, Oct 18: Swedish Housing Minister Mehmet Kaplan has offered his country’s collaboration with Maharashtra government in the sphere of waste, digital urban land management and urban transportation.
He said Sweden and India share good bond of friendship and it can be strengthened further on political level as well as student exchanges and company collaborations.
The minister said Sweden’s expertise in the geographic information system (GIS) will help Maharashtra in mapping land and to plan its development.
Notably, India and Sweden recently signed an MoU on sustainable urban development.
