Both the Captain look tight-lipped. They say, ‘This is just like any other game’. But, both know that, this game is somehow difference from others. It is to be noted, India has never lost a World Cup Game to Pakistan in both One-day and T20 Formats. In the ODI World Cup, India have defeated Pakistan 7 times while in the T20 World Cup, it has won 5 matches against Pakistan. It is expected that, India Team will make it 6 today.
India Team looks strong enough to face Pakistan. But, in T20 format, it is difficult to say as it is a format of unpredictability.
As also we have witnessed, during 2017 Champions Trophy final, some of the finest players of India disintegrated under pressure. Not only India, many such situations are seen in past, where good teams/players disintegrate under pressure.
Still, India is hopeful to win the match. India has batters like KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya. Also, India has bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Bhubaneswar Kumar, Varun Chakraborty, R Aswin and Ravindra Jadeja.
