India is out of T20 World Cup
New Zealand defeated Afghanistan by 8 wickets in their last Group-2 match in the Super-12 of the T20 World Cup. The victory of Kiwi team brought bad news for India. India is now out of the race for the semi-finals. The win took New Zealand to eight points and became the fourth team to reach the semi-finals. Earlier, Pakistan has qualified for the semi-finals from this group. At the same time, England and Australia qualified from Group 1.
Kane Williamson scored 40 not out off 42 balls, while Devon Conway chipped in with an unbeaten 36 off 32 balls as New Zealand chased down Afghanistan’s 124/8 in 18.1 overs.
