Bhubaneswar, June 5: In a way where the leaders and members from the ruling BJD are joining the state BJP, the attendance with BJD party hardly goes down, as thousands of members and activists under the leadership of Santosh Kumar Amat, the Talasara MLA candidate for BJP, have joined the ruling party today.
Addressing the gathering at the party head office, Party president and CM Naveen Patnaik said, “BJD has always worked for the betterment of the society and especially for the upliftment of the poor and the backward classes and through this we have touched hearts of above 4 crore people across the state. I am happy that today Santosh Amat has also joined us to work for our goal, our aim”.

Employment opportunities have also remained only in the speeches, but in reality hardly Odia’s get jobs at IOCL, MCL etc which are under the Union Minister, D Pradhan”. On the hand taking about Jual Oram, Amat said, “being a tribal minister, he has never ever thought of the development of tribal, rather has helped in the development of Businessmen”.
